Perrigo Benzoyl Peroxide Wash 10% 1s is indicated for use in the topical treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. Benzoyl Peroxide Wash 2.5%, 5%, and 10% may be used as an adjunct in acne treatment regimens including antibiotics, retinoic acid products, and sulfur/salicylic acid-containing preparations. Spread a thin layer of the benzoyl peroxide gel on the affected area. If you do not experience any discomfort, you can gradually increase your applications to three times a day. The wet area is to be cleansed. Apply acne wash and gently massage the area for 1-2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed. Benzoyl peroxide usually takes about 4 weeks to start working. It can take up to 2 to 4 months for the treatment to have its full effect. What can I do if benzoyl peroxide does not work?
