Jan Marini Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Wash 2.5% is a very effective antibacterial cleanser for the treatment of acne and acne-prone skin. It assists in thoroughly removing sebum and cellular debris without stripping or excessive dryness. Oily skinned individuals will appreciate deep cleansing action that leaves the skin feeling scrupulously clean, soft and smooth. FEATURES & BENEFITS: Medically proven medication that assists in preventing and clearing acne lesions Cleanses thoroughly to remove sebum and cellular debris Reduces the presence of P. acnes bacteria Leaves skin feeling clean without stripping or causing excessive dryness SKIN TYPES: Dry, Oily, Normal, Acne-Prone, Sensitive APPLICATION: Apply a small amount of Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% Acne Treatment Wash (about the size of a quarter) to the face. Work into a lather. Gently remove with a wash cloth and lukewarm water. Splash face with lukewarm water. Pat dry. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop use of both products and ask a physician.
